What payment methods can I use?
PowerToThePeople.NYC accepts the following methods of payment for purchases:

When will my order ship?
Pending order verification and credit approval, orders placed with Flat Rate/Ground shipping will ship within 1-5 business days.

Each address you instruct us to ship to, including gift-recipient addresses, is considered a separate order and is subject to applicable shipping charges.

We endeavor to ship your purchase within 3 business days of receiving your order. This 3-day period allows for order verification, credit approval and order processing. This time is in addition to the transit time required for the delivery method you selected.

Shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands, Guam, Marshall Islands, Northern Mariana Islands, Samoa and any P.O. boxes are shipped via USPS Priority Mail. PowerToThePeople.NYC is proud to offer shipping to APO addresses. The delivery time for APO shipping may vary.

Delivery schedules are estimated. Actual delivery times may vary depending on shipping locations. When estimating package delivery time, please allow time for credit approval, address verification and order processing.

What does it cost to ship my order?
Shipping rates are calculated according to shipping method.

Do you ship outside the United States?
PowerToThePeople.NYC is proud to offer shipping to APO addresses. The delivery time for APO shipping may vary.

Which carrier will ship my order?
We use several methods and carriers to ship your order as quickly and efficiently as possible based on your selected delivery method and location. Deliveries will be made during the carrier’s normal business hours. Once your order has shipped, you can track your order’s location using the information provided by the carrier.

Can I ship to an address other than my own?
Yes, you can ship to another address besides your own. When you register with PowerToThePeople.NYC, you will have the option to create your own address list. This feature allows you to store the names and addresses of people to whom you frequently send gifts. It’s easy to add, change or delete information from your address list at any time. (Please note: The information that you store in your address list is for your use only. PowerToThePeople.NYC will not contact anyone listed unless we have a specific question about a delivery.)

What if I am not pleased with my selection? Can I return the purchase?
Returns and exchanges must be made within the guidelines in our Return Policy.

Full-Price Merchandise:

  • The full amount will be credited to the original tender (credit card) if returned within 30 days of the ship date on your invoice and accompanied by the original invoice.
  • The current selling price will be credited if returned after 30 days and accompanied by the original invoice.
  • Merchandise that is older than 60 days from the original ship date cannot be accepted.

Sale-Price Merchandise:

  • The full amount will be credited to the original tender (credit card) if returned within 30 days of the ship date on your invoice and accompanied by the original invoice.
  • After 30 days, sale product is not eligible for return or credit.

Items must be new, unworn and have not been altered to be accepted as returns.

 

Return Procedure

The return procedure is as follows:

Please include one of the following return codes in the subject line:

    1. A Refund of unworn/unwashed/unaltered merchandise (1-30 days from ship date)
    2. B Exchange of unworn/unwashed merchandise (1-30 days from ship date)
    3. C Exchange of defective merchandise (1-30 days from ship date)

Please note that items that have been altered in anyway will not be accepted for return or exchange.

  • To better help you please include in the body of your email the item number/s and the reason/s why you are returning/exchanging the items.
  • Customer Assistance will respond to your email with a RA# (return authorization number). Please package your merchandise and return ship it to us at the address provided in your RA# confirmation email. Be sure to include the RA# on the address label. If exchanging by mail, specify the new color or size of the item you are exchanging in the body of your email and include a copy of the original ship receipt with your exchange.
  • We will provide a refund (in the form of original payment) or replacement upon receipt of your returned merchandise.

Returns & Refunds Disclaimer

We reserve the right to deny service to fraudulent claims or any customer who abuses our return policy (i.e. repeatedly returning or exchanging an item).

  • All items marked clearance are final and cannot be returned or exchanged.
  • We do not reimburse or refund you for any shipping fees, including return shipping fees. PowerToThePeople.NYC is not responsible for lost or untraceable return shipments. PowerToThePeople.NYC highly recommends that you send your return using a carrier that offers tracking and/ confirmation of delivery.
  • Please allow 10 to 12 business days after we receive your return for your replacement or refund to be processed. If you are eligible for a refund, we will make every effort to process all refunds within 10 to 12 business days of the receipt of returned items. Please note that credit card companies can take up to 30 days to process a credit from a merchant.

Price adjustments will be accepted within 10 days from the ship date. Price adjustments are accepted on items purchased at the full retail price only. Items purchased on sale or with a promotional discount, are not eligible for further price adjustment.

We suggest you send the package via USPS or FedEx, and purchase tracking services for your protection. Save the shipping receipt for your records. Only merchandise received can be credited.

All returns will be credited to the original form of payment unless otherwise specified on the return/exchange email. Your credit card will be credited upon processing of the returned item(s), and the credit should appear on your next statement. You will receive an e-mail notification upon the completion of return processing.

If I give a gift to someone, can that person exchange it for something else?
Exchanging gifts is easy, since all gifts come with a gift receipt without prices. Gift recipients can only be exchanged.

Will my order be taxed?
Applicable sales tax based on shipping address will be included on all orders.

What do I do if my item arrives damaged?
Customer satisfaction is our goal at PowerToThePeople.NYC. Please contact Customer Service via email at CustomerAssistance@PowerToThePeople.NYC or telephone 347.903.7887 and we will replace the order.

Can I see a record of my transactions with PowerToThePeople.NYC?
By registering with us, you can check your order status online through the Order History area of your User Profile. All of the details regarding past purchases will be conveniently stored for you in an organized listing. You can also check the status of an order placed with PowerToThePeople.NYC by contacting Customer Service via email at CustomerAssistance@PowerToThePeople.NYC or telephone 347.903.7887.

How long does it take to process my return?
Please allow 10 to 12 business days for us to receive and process your return. You will receive an e-mail notification upon the completion of return processing. We are not able to issue credit until your return package has been received and processed.

If I want to exchange my item for a similar item or a different size or color, how do I do that?
You can only return your exchange by mail.

If exchanging by mail, specify the new color or size of the item you are exchanging on the return/exchange email and include a copy of the original ship form in your return package.

We suggest you send the package via USPS or FedEx, and purchase tracking services for your protection.

Simply affix the postage-paid return label to your package and drop it in the mail, and we’ll send your new item free of shipping charges.

How do I know which size to purchase?

Are there any limitations regarding promotion codes?
If you receive a promotion code for use at PowerToThePeople.NYC, you may redeem it in your shopping bag or on the payment page at checkout. Only one promotion code can be applied to an order. Some promotion codes, such as those given for completing our third party survey at checkout, can only be used on select sale items. For example, sale items that include an additional percentage off cannot be combined with the third party promotion. Other restrictions may apply. Our merchandise is both imported and domestic in origin. This information can be found on PowerToThePeople.NYC along with other details about each of our products.

Why should I register?
Registering with PowerToThePeople.NYC isn’t required to explore the site, but it will allow you to fully enjoy PowerToThePeople.NYC. Not only will shopping be easier, but your entire experience with the site will become more personal and convenient over time. You cannot make purchases or use e-mail to a Friend without being registered.

Registering allows you to maintain an account with PowerToThePeople.NYC. Return customers can store credit card information for easier shopping, maintain an address book, review order history, check current orders and edit billing or shipping information.

Once registered, you can access your account information from anywhere within the site by simply clicking the “My Account” button anytime during your visit. PowerToThePeople.NYC is a secure site that respects your privacy.

Is there a risk to storing my information online with you?
Your privacy on the Internet is important to us at PowerToThePeople.NYC. We do not sell or trade with third parties any personal information, such as e-mail addresses, personal information collected as part of an online survey or other specific details about you, gathered online. We do not contribute to or participate in cooperative databases, which give other companies access to such personal information. For privacy purposes, we maintain appropriate safeguards to protect personal information relating to our customers.

Do you sell names to other companies?
